Great stay! It was close to the freeway and close to SLO downtown, but also very close to Morro Bay and Avila Beach which is where our family spent most of our time. It worked for our two night stay.

1. Breakfast was good (proteins available like sausage and egg, and yogurt) and convenient (self-serve in a good-sized lobby). 2. Front desk staff offered us bottled water at check-in, one per person, which is thoughtful on a hot day. 3. Hot water is available all day (a big plus), across the check-in desk, if you wanted to make a cup of tea. 4. It’s nice that they always have someone at the front desk (for convenience and for security). Overall a pleasant stay!
Bathroom is clean, but can hear the sound of toilet clicking occasionally and hear the shower running from neighbor.
Room does have an iron and iron board.
There are two waffle makers (one makes a large waffle like this, the other makes 4 small round waffles).

It was fine except for being awakened early Sunday morning by fire alarms and a total evacuation of the hotel. I booked this trip for my wife of 47 years as a gift for all of the serious health issues she has been dealing with. Quite honestly it was an awful experience particularly for her.
