We gave the 'area around the property' a 3 because we were not sure what was around us! Part of that is our ignorance yet as guests we would think it woulb be helpful if you provided a map of the area around you and were to go on foot or by vehicle. We do want to emphasis that we found staff to be excellent and friendly. Thank you!!

The staff at this property was very kind. This hotel was the first meal we had in Costa Rica and every meal after going around we’d find ourselves comparing it to the rice and beans from the breakfast option. Yummy options for breakfast. Nice pool area. Liked it so much we stayed twice. I will say the walls are thin and feel like you can hear everything. Also keep in mind no elevators. Other than that I’d stay here a third time!

Room and all facilities were super clean. I really appreciate the staff, especially the gentleman at the front desk. He was extremely helpful and provided great guidance. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is an older hotel, but amenities, room, and staff are worth coming back to.

Disappointed with the Room. The Bed Linens were dirty and had to be changed, the shower head barely allowed water to flow, shower water was not hot and the wind was blowing in around the patio doors causing the windows to rattle constantly.

The room was a great disappointment. It was not his pictured. It was a garden apartment with a huge window with a shade that did not operate. There was a refrigerator missing, so we had to ask for one to be brought to the room. The refrigerator door would not seal completely. So frost build up very quickly.There were only two bathhouses in a room.So we had to ask for them too, a full set. The television only played in Spanish. Including closed caption. The safe was broken. And our room, key stopped working one day before our checkout. For new year's eve party was the best part of this hotel. However, no American music was played for the guest.

Breakfast menu was great especially for me as I cant eat eggs, other options were available. I appreciated how shuttle was reliable and included. Even on New Year eve night it was on time, I liked the garden, it is gorgeous. The only thing that I missed is a chair in the room, Thank you for the great stay!
