"You will be surprised! The videos and photos really don’t tell the full story of this resort. We got a great price through Expedia and honestly wished we had booked an extra day. We rented a car, and I definitely recommend having one. Driving in Puerto Rico really isn’t that bad. Just stay confident, use common sense, and be respectful of the other drivers. The rooms were really nice. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa with a pull-out couch, which was perfect for our little one. The kitchen was fully equipped and very useful, especially if you want to save some money by making meals or keeping snacks and drinks in the room. The pool was amazing both during the day and at night. The resort beach was beautiful, but the water was a little too rough for us during our stay. We made the trip to El Yunque and found much calmer water during our exploring. Dorado is a nice area overall. Some areas outside the resort may not always look or feel as well maintained as you might expect, but we never had an issue. Dreams Coffee is also nearby and definitely worth the short 6-minute drive. Overall, we had a great family vacation and would absolutely stay here again. Our biggest regret was not adding one more day!"
