This hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The parking was great as well as the complementary continental breakfast. I would stay here again. Yes the area around the hotel was a bit scary and appeared to be kind of a bad neighborhood but it’s hard to tell in this city. San Diego is old and that’s to be expected.

Parking was super difficult if you didn’t have a compact car. Door to the lobby not marked at all and was difficult to find. No smoking policy was not enforced at all. Many guests were smoking Pot in their rooms and it spread into my room causing an allergic reaction. Guests were also loud and unruly making getting a good nights sleep rather difficult.

The staff was very courteous and professional. They answered all my questions with a friendly smile. The general cleanliness was very good. The only negative I experienced was the smell of vomit emitting from the region of our next door neighbor. We had to pass the smell in order to access our room. But, overall the stay was pleasant.

I requested a room with a balcony, I enjoyed the room! Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was limited due to the pandemic. My only compliant is that parking is challenging! Very small parking stalls… my suv fit, but I had to be selective on where to park it!

He ran our credit card the day before we arrived when I paid for the option to pay when I arrived. Ants on the bathroom sink. Stained bedspread. Breakfast was frozen waffles, cold cereal, toast or oatmeal.
