Great for the money. Parking fees on the high side. The king bed was so comfortable. The lady in the breakfast corner was amazing and kept up with the hustle ( Saturday 4/20 I did not catch her name).

Pound clonking water pipes all night long
It’s an older Motel in downtown, what more can there be said? The pictures online always look better than in real life. The biggest issue were the clonking water pipes all night long. Got no sleep because of it. The bathroom is old, toilet is one like at a highway rest stop or at an amusement park, so nothing fancy. If you just need to stay somewhere for a night and you are a sound sleeper, this will work for you. I got zero sleep because of the clonking water pipes. So basically, every time someone in a room near me (?) used their water, the loudness of the pipes was horrible! It almost gave me a heart attack! Breakfast actually was good, I was surprised there was a very small breakfast room with coffee, juice, bagels, some sort of pre done egg, cereal, milk. If you have a car I’ll warn you there’s very limited parking there. Maybe look at it with google earth to get an idea. Overall I’ll give it a 3 stars without being a whiner or complainer. It’s downtown in a big city, so…. You live and learn. Fix those pipes!!!

What was the friend and we really enjoyed our stay close enough to walk to dining or entertainment? We even walked to the bay one day. Very quiet area convenient little market across the street coffee shop next-door and a great breakfast/lunch place 2 1/2 blocks away. Short Uber ride to just about anywhere in the city. Will stay again.

Not very good, unfortunately.
Just stayed one night in San Diego while visiting Sea World and other places. Honestly, the fact that the hotel is old didn’t bother me. Even the smell of the room when you entered, which was probably the deodorizer they use to get the smoke smell out of an old hotel, was tolerable after you were in the room for a bit. But things like no shower curtain in a weirdly small tub and an uncomfortable hard bed, were hard to ignore. Add in the sound of people slamming their door all night and the guy at the front desk being so hard to understand because of his accent, that I feel I’m being generous with 3 stars. I wouldn’t stay here again, even at the low price for one night. Plus I had to pay $19 for parking in the hotel parking lot, which ruined any good deal I might have gotten otherwise. Avoid this one.

This property was perfect. We needed a simple room to stay the night in and walk to downtown SD. If you are looking for something exciting, this is not the place. This room had all of the amenities we needed for our short stay. I would stay here again if needed.

Nice, average motel perfect for someone who is only in town a short while and might not need luxury accommodations. Very walkable to everything, surrounded by great restaurants. Check in was very quick and easy. Would definitely come back.

The people were amazing very helpful, but the room was smelling bad (Receptionist had to use a spray to get rid of the smell). There was a leak in the bathroom toilet, a towel was placed by it to pick up the water. The tub seem stained so we put a towel on it in order to take a shower.
