Concrete floors in rooms echo very badly. I could clearly hear people in the room next to me talking normally. In my room street noise was pretty bad. Room was basic. Desk was not level and rocked back and forth. Dean’s Steak was good but understaffed. The price of the room was my biggest issue. I have paid half of the price a night, and been more comfortable and had a better experience. I felt the hotel was extremely lacking for the cost. I only usually stay in higher end resorts or hotels. To me the experience fell short of my expectation.

Interior lobby, rooms, & amenities were exceptional. Only draw back was multiple instances of hour /almost 2hr waits for valet to retrieve vehicles, making planned endeavors almost impossible to punctuate. Overall lovely experience despite the latter.

Lovely Stay in SA

We loved staying at the Kimpton Santo! The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. There are lovely sitting areas, both inside and outside. It has an outdoor, heated pool with plenty of cabanas and loungers, a fitness center, access to a spa, a lovely restaurant, which includes outdoor seating, and a rooftop bar. Our room was quite nice; the bed was comfortable, the shower was roomy with included amenities, it had a Nespresso machine in-room, AND a morning coffee station near the front desk and an in-room, small refrigerator and safe. The staff was amazing; from being greeted upon arrival to our check-out, all were personable, professional and efficient! The next time we are in San Antonio, we will stay there again!
