Hôtel de Bourgogne
"As I've often found, with French ladies-of-a-certain-age, they appear not to care about whether you feel welcome or not. I don't know if this is just me, because of my British accent, or to tourists in general. The room was very good. It was a blessing to get a night-cap at the bar after returning ..."

"Pool was excellent. Room had some parts updated but not all. Very small for 4 people due to 2 pull out beds. One pillow each, my husband asked for another and was told they were all being used. Breakfast and cleaning staff all very pleasant. Lots of flies around breakfast food."

Château de Pizay
"We had a lovely one night stay and enjoyed using the pool and doing the wine tasting experience. Our evening meal was first class and the service immaculate. The bar area was a little disappointing and feels in need of a bit of a makeover. The grounds are fabulous although it was a little too hot to do much exploring. We had a duplex room which was fine for 1 night but I would upgrade if I went again. The lights were very strange and you could not go to the toilet downstairs on a night without putting on all the downstairs lights and waking other people.Breakfast was good but not exceptional."
