If you're not sure how to begin planning your Valais break, relax, because there is a terrific selection of perfect apartment varieties in Saas. On the handy accommodation guide, you can find 45 rooms within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) distance of the heart of Saas.

Within 0.6 miles (1 kilometer) of the town center, Travelocity readers will be excited to know there are a selection of lodgings, including the Pension Heino and Hotel Dom.

Thrifty travelers rejoice! The Saas area offers loads of budget hotel options. The Rubin Apartments is 2 miles (3 kilometers) from downtown, while the Europa Annex is 1 mile (2 kilometers) away. Alternative budget hotels are the Pension Heino and the Hotel Britannia.

11 miles (18 kilometers) outside of central Saas, you can find the Haus Colosseo. The Mont Cervin Palace is positioned 12 miles (19 kilometers) away. Some other places to stay worth looking into are the Mountain Exposure - Luxury Apartments along with the Hotel Riffelalp Resort 2222m.

The broader Southern Switzerland region is well worth having a look at as well. Southern Switzerland is home to forests, and other popular tourist sights are traditional villages, fortresses and churches. Travelers in this area of Switzerland often love snowboarding.

Looking for more to do? You could spend some time seeing Leukerbad Ski Resort and Alpentherme Thermal Baths, which you'll find in Leukerbad, 25 miles (39 kilometers) northwest of Saas. Most importantly the staff was super helpful with everything. I got food poisoning (not from them LOL) during my stay there and they did things like bring food to my room and drive me to the pharmacy. Beyond that, they were just super friendly and happy to share insights on the many interesting subregions within Saas-Fee... Which is an incredibly beautiful area to visit!"
