Great Choice For a Family

The home was quite spacious, comfortable and well ėquipped. We had a minor problem due to lack of understanding the hvac system, and the owner was there in person very promptly to help. We loved the back yard, and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable. This home has all the modern conveniences but really is right in the midst of Amish farmland. Buggies went by the house by the dozens.

Senior trip

Best possible outcome! I took my 90 year old aunt and she was able to get around well in the house. No large transitions for her to navigate. We didn’t stay as long as we would have liked but we will be back! Host is awesome! She brought a treat on our last day.

Ladies’ weekend

We had a lovely weekend reconnecting across three generations. Sisters spent the night; daughters and granddaughters joined us for Saturday lunch and supper. The house was spacious, clean, and accommodating. We loved the large dining table and living room, comfy couches and beds, and bright sunroom. I’d love to see the gardens in bloom.

There were four in our group and we were visiting Lancaster. The house was very nice, very clean. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and there is a beautiful porch on the house. The house is conveniently located near downtown Lancaster but far enough away that you really feel like its the country. I would recommend this house for anyone coming to Lancaster.

Perfect for Our Family Gathering

Family Christmas get-away

This house fit our family of 9 well. This includes 7 teens/young adults. The 4 bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. I used the kitchen for making breakfast and dinner. It was well stocked for all our needs. We enjoyed the coffee pot and Keurig as well as the toaster, pots and baking sheets. (We did miss what most people's review mentioned- whoopie pies!) There is plenty of room to spread out, visit and even keep noise away from those sleeping by staying in the sunroom or living room. The decor is a bit outdated but didn't bother us bc it was very clean and was actually bigger that we figured from the photos. Great place- like staying at Grandma's meticulously kept cozy home! We voted and the "kids" say it's a DO AGAIN!

Great home in the perfect location!!

The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. Originally we had 2 couples planned but it ended up just my wife and I. The house is large enough to accommodate several couples or a large family. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and well appointed. The surprise whoopie pies were an added treat. If you have a larger group, we highly recommend this location. It is centrally located to all the area attractions yet the country setting is so relaxing. We absolutely loved our stay!!!

Perfect setting for a family gathering

The home was even better in person! The pictures did not do it justice. We were surprised by the size of the property. The bedrooms were all perfect and spacious. The dining room table was perfect for morning breakfast and late night board games. The living room was great to watch Christmas movies. We would love to return in the spring so that we can sit outside and enjoy the outdoor space as well. We also were treated to DELICIOUS whoopie pies!!! Everything was perfect!!!

Great place to stay!

This was our second time staying here. We enjoy all the space, the 2 bathrooms and the number of beds. Very clean and great kitchen!! We enjoy everything about this home. Also, a great location.

Weekend away

The property was wonderful, very spacious. Grandchildren enjoyed the game closet. Plenty of room for our group of 9. Everything was as described. We were close to all the events we wanted to do. Property manager brought us whoppie pies. Such a nice touch. Will book again

Beautiful home

The Berry House offered plenty of room for 6 adults. There was plenty of hot water for all of us to take showers each morning without it getting cold. We loved seeing the horse and buggies pass by each day of our stay.The convenience of being a short drive to Sight & Sound Theater was the primary reason we picked this location. Would definitely return for future stays.
