Decided to book a room based on numerous ratings of 10/10. Upon arrival we were the only guests at 6pm. Receptionist was sitting among bags of garbage, I asked to see the room. It was up two sets of steps, followed by a very steep, concrete ramp. It ended up being the farthest room in the building away from the office, with a local man working on a loud engine directly underneath us. Upon reviewing the ratings I realized there is a sequence of 10/10 ratings all paraphrasing the same things. I forfeited my nightly rental payment and declined the room.

The staff was very nice and this motel is located in a very convenient spot close to restaurants and grocery stores. However, our pillowcases and bedspread were visibly dusty and one of the pillows had a blood stain on it, while one of the sheets had a yellow stain. Also suspected mold because i have a moderate mold allergy and by the time we left both my husband and i were sneezing and I was beginning to get hives. Not upset overall, because the place is pretty cheap, but i definitely would rather pay extra next time to stay somewhere else.

The swimming pool was not open and it was an extremely hot mid-August day. We learned that it had been open until the week before but closed due to the “inspector not coming” ( had not been there May, June or July and pool was then Open)

Comfortable but….

The room itself was large and very quiet, but unfortunately, its location wasn't convenient: the entrance was dimly lit, in the back, and in the hidden corner. Kind of creepy. Beds were quite comfortable, sheets pretty clean but comforters could use some cleaning. The worst was the bathroom with dark bundles of dark hair and towels that were more grey than white. They should have been replaced couple of seasons before. The walls could be cleaned too as it seems someone touched them with dirty hands. Also the space between beds and the nightstand was really dusty with spider webs (unfortunately my glasses fell down). Finally, the armchair in the corner was so dirty that I wouldn’t dare to touch it 😬).
