Checkin was easy enough and the bed was super comfortable. Here ends the positives. When I got into the shower (first of our family to do so) there was hair on the wall from previous tenants. The toilet tank was leaking every time the toilet flushed. One of the nights the battery to our door lock died. We described the problem to the front desk and she says “it’s probably dead but here’s new keys to the first. Come back if they don’t work” — it’s 12:40 in the morning and if she could already diagnose the issue then why send us back up with a solution that she knew wouldn’t work (spoiler, new keys don’t work cuz she was right). When someone did come to change the battery it took a few tries because something was stuck in the unit. My husband is literally sleeping in the hallway at this point and we don’t get into the room until 1:15am. The next night the toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom. I immediately called front desk and my husband had to turn off the water valve to stop the flood. It took someone 20 minutes to show up and the guy was questioning why we turned off the water valve — uh, so the flood didn’t reach the carpet in bedroom??? Didn’t cause actual damage to the property?? And the person helping resolve the toilet issue didn’t even have show covers so he’s trailing toilet water through the room upon exit. The hallways in the hotel didn’t appear to be vacuumed regularly as there was debris all over every day of our 3-night stay.
