Perfect location, but prepare for some quirks

You honestly can’t beat the location — right in the heart of everything. But check-in is a bit chaotic. You're supposed to call three days in advance to confirm the arrival time and then call an Italian number once you’re at the door. Not super intuitive, especially if you're juggling multiple travel plans. That said, once we got in touch, the reception team was fantastic — super helpful and accommodating. There’s even space to store luggage before check-in, which was a big plus. The space itself goes by multiple names (we booked Relais but ended up at Flâneur — apparently, they’re the same thing?). Our room was tiny but had everything we needed. The bathroom, though, could use some TLC: it felt a bit rundown, some mold on the ceiling, and it really needed a more thorough clean. Also, the walls could use a refresh — a bit scruffy in places. The air conditioning worked great, and despite being right on Via del Corso, street noise wasn’t an issue. But it's an old building, so we could hear people talking in other rooms and every door opening like it was happening right next to us. All in all, it’s a solid spot to stay for a night or two while exploring Rome — just go in with realistic expectations. It's not luxury, but it gets the job done.

The location was amazing! It was right in the center of the main shopping district. Both the room and the bathroom or larger than most we experienced in Europe. The staff was amazing. We had a mobility scooter delivered for my mom, which they kindly kept in their very large storage closet for us. It was there when we arrived, and we left it there when we departed. I would highly recommend this hotel.
