Near Coliseum

Nice staff. No breakfast. Comfortable room. Nice pillows and bed. It’s up on 5th or 6th floor but there is an interesting and reliable elevator to get up to the room. Walkable to coliseum, pantheon and St Peter’s. Coliseum the closest. Train station close also. Felt very safe walking.

The room and staff were great. It is difficult to maneuver the entry and elevator but once you understand ( by trial & error) it’s doable. It’s more of a B & B, definitely not a hotel! The front entry was an issue for many of the guests as the desk is only staffed 9am- 4 pm. It is a couple of blocks away from Sant Mary Major Basilica but not 15 min walk to major sites! The staff, when there, were lovely.

Overall negative experience. Property is very old and not very updated. Bed was hard and pillows thin and hard. Air conditioning did not work well. Busy area near property that made it impossible to sleep in with the noise. Elevator looks like it is from the 1800s and felt very unsafe. The last night there there was no hot water and they did not offer to do anything about it and said it would be fixed the next day. Are you kidding me?! That is an emergency and they should have called someone out right away for emergency service. They also ignored my request for reimbursement regarding the hot water issue. I will be filling a dispute with my CC company because I couldn’t even use the shower for 24 hrs and luckily was leaving the next day to go to Florence.

The staff was great! Our room didn’t have a working hair dryer, and the hotel manager brought one to us directly to our room from his home. The house keeper was very friendly also.

All was excellent. I especially liked the fun lift/elevator, good directions on how to get in room after hours and convince to good trattorias. Staff were very accommodating to hold my luggage after checking out. Easy peasy.

Our only complaint was no hot water on the morning we checked out. That was fixed as soon as the person working arrived at 9:00. Service was wonderful, and the person at the desk was very helpful.

Room More suitable for single or couples traveling

I thought i was staying at a hotel. Truth is, someone rented a partial floor of a building and renovated it to fit 4 - 5 rooms. Getting tonthe room with 4 suitcases was hell, parking just to unload was hell. Good luck finding parking. The room itself , the ceilings are cracked at the seam of the drywall, the fridge they offered didnt work. The bed was confy and the AC worked well. Bathroom / shower was renovated but we didnt use it. If you're a single traveler or in a couple visiting rome for a few days without much luggage amd without a car, I'd recommend it. Anyone else, its not the best suitable place.

Great safe spot near Roma Termini

We stayed at this property on our last day in Italy before heading home as it was within walking distance to Roma Termini and had good reviews. It did not dissapoint. Very large shower and bathroom compared to anywhere else we stayed in Italy. There is a grocery store located a block up and over from this hotel as well and you have a small fridge in your room, along with a communal fridge in the lobby. The hotel is only 1 floor so not a lot of rooms to compete with. The only complaint with the room was this was a two bed (a single and a double or king) but the single seemed a little shorter for my 6'3 son compared to our bed. He made it work and we would stay here again.
