Beautiful hotel. Very clean. The staff was wonderful. Our flight came in around 7 am. The front desk let us check in very early around 10 or 11. We had breakfast there and went to sleep. The hotel is on the 4th floor with one small elevator right across the street from the basilica. Ver walkable. It’s just a few blocks from Roma Termini and many restaurants. The front desk made some great recommendations for dinner options. We would definitely stay here again after being here a week.

Princeps Hotel - Lovely Oasis in Rome

Princeps Hotel was a lovely oasis in the Monti neighbourhood in Rome. I arrived early and they let me check in and even upgraded me to a larger room. They also let me enjoy breakfast given I was leaving the hotel at 5 a.m. the following day. The room was clean and nicely decorated. I felt extremely safe and each staff member I spoke to was helpful and friendly. There are many dining options within a 5-10 min walk. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Rome for a couple of nights.

This is a little gem of a boutique hôtel. The staff bent over backwards to help us. Rustam and Christiana amonts many were so friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast included. Close to many of the sites we wanted to visit. We would definitely recommend.

This hotel room was spotlessly clean and quiet. The room was average size for Rome and very comfortable. Great amenities. Nice breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There is just a little sign at the entrance to the building that you have to watch out for as you are looking for the address. No big awning or signage. There is a lift to the 4th floor. Location was perfect - right across from Saint Mary Major Basilica and close to Termini and metro- perfect for our 2 night stay.

The hotel is at walking distance from train station, shopping and historical sites and museums. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Although it was just a one night stay we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay, however the one big issue was on the facilities it said bar and this was the one thing I was hoping for. There is no bar just coffee and water. Saying that the staff were lovely snd helpful, the room was small but lovely, the breakfast was also very good. The whole venue was clean and well kept.

Nice, clean place overlooking a large square. Good free breakfast buffet. Minor quibbles: They should have kleenex in the rooms. Also separate shampoo and body gel would be better. The person on duty in the evenings is not as knowledgeable as the main staff. Overall very good.

The hotel itself was clean and served a great purpose for the two nights we stayed. The major inconvenience was the accessibility from the street and finding the extremely small sign that doesn’t look like it would belong to a hotel. I understand it is a boutique hotel, which limits the amount of rooms they can offer but our gps took us to the cross streets and we circled the large building block three times before we called the front desk. She eventually came down and escorted us to the entrance but please beware when booking that the location off the street is misleading and may cause confusion upon first visit. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly but not overly accommodating or helpful.
