Palazzo Medusa is a fantastic place to stay.The room was very spacious, clean and safe. The neighborhood is awesome, very close to every major attraction and restaurants. We walked everywhere within 15-30 minutes and there are plenty of places to eat withing five minutes. The building is on a little side alley, so it's quiet and easy to get to. There is a parking garage just 4 blocks away, a 3 minute walk. The hotel is i a restricted driving area, but the garage is not, so you cannot drive to the front door with a rental car, but that didn't matter. A must stay, I will definitely stay there again.

The location was difficult to find, and the reception desk was not easily accessible. I rang the doorbell repeatedly with no response and eventually sent a message through Expedia to cancel the room. Only a minute after sending the message did someone finally open the door. I was then told that reception is only available for a few hours in the morning. Additionally, there is no reliable phone or internet reception inside the hotel, you would have to rely on WiFi to make the phone calls.

The location was excellent for seeing all the sights around the center of Rome. It was a 10 minute walk to the Vatican and 20 minutes to the Forum area. There are numerous restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit basic but of good size. The bed was comfortable. The facility is not staffed all day, so you are pretty much on your own. The streets are very noisy all night, but if you close the windows and turn on the AC you won’t hear much. I didn’t give the hotel 5 stars because for me that is reserved for exceptional facilities, but I would stay here again if I returned.

Nice hotel

Had a 1 night stay. Room was nice and comfortable. The lady that seems to be in charge was nice and welcoming. She text my friend who also had a room and kept in contact about an arrival time and helped us with directions on getting to the hotel. Very nice place and nice lady to help out
