Rome's Best Kept Lodging Secret

We had an amazing stay at Navona Central Suites in Rome. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our in-room private hot tub and sauna. The staff was so helpful and attended to our every need. The location as convenient with many stores and restaurants in walking distance. We loved our stay. My only criticism is that the room was sometimes a bit too warm and we couldn't adjust the air conditioner ourselves. It would be nice if fans were placed in our rooms or ceiling fans.

Property, just like almost every hotel in old Rome, is difficult to find at first. The front is shared with other uses. Once buzzed in, all is nice and quaint. Room was roomy and window opened to courtyard. Location was great, but if you drive, this is in the restricted area so would want to park and walk to hotel.

We've traveled extensively with Expedia. When we selected this property (which has maybe 5 rooms?), the other rooms were booked, so we took the room knowing that we didn't need the extra sofa bed or sauna and were not planning to use the tub. I mention it because our stay was absolutely fantastic -- I'd encourage people to stay there regardless of whether those things matter to you. Room is so spacious and lovely. The security link they sent us for the outer doors worked perfectly. Aida was incredibly kind and helpful. The Lavazza cappuccino maker in the room was not the kind you normally find in a hotel room (it was a professional one) and made the best beverages we've ever had. Seriously. Also the complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. Soundproofing worked well. Wonderful property.

Excellent location, beautiful building.

Frederica was a wonderful host during our stay. She was always friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth and our room was very nice. The weather was great and it was nice to have the big windows open to fresh air and the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is fantastic. Lots of great places within walking distance and lots of amazing restaurants. The building that the hotel is in is gorgeous. I would absolutely stay here again.

Federica was the sweetest she answered all our questions as this was our first time in Rome. The room was clean and specious, it’s located right across the famous Alfredo restaurant where the fettuccine Alfredo was born and at walking distance to all the main attractions.
