This was a perfect stay in the heart of Rome with a few caveats. The property itself is amazing! The balcony provides a stunning view and is a great place to have a little breakfast before heading into the city. The shower has a ton of hot water but unless you want to flood the entire bathroom, you need to hold onto the showerhead to rinse off…but that’s typical for Europe. There is a stovetop, microwave, teapot, refrigerator, and Nespresso machine in the kitchen. Only thing you need is a toaster. The bed is comfortable enough although getting in/out of bed on the sides is a tight squeeze between the bed and the wall. The apartment is about a 5 minute walk from the Spagna Metro station so I highly recommend getting a weekly Metro card to save yourself some walking between major sites. It’s SUPER convenient, clean, and easy to navigate. But make sure if you’re taking the Metro from Termini to use the Spagna exit from the Metro, not the Villa Borghese! The only downside is the neighborhood can be a bit loud. Right outside the apartment is a primary school (so noisy in the morning) and a restaurant (so noisy in the evening….until midnight). So bring earplugs or a white-noise app.
