The Hotel golden is an older family owned hotel. It doesn’t offer many frills but if what you want is an affordable quiet place to sleep, it’s a good place. It was a little farther from the historic sites but if you don’t mind the hills, it’s walkable. There is a coffee shop close by for breakfast. We did use uber quite a bit because of the amount of walking. The bedding was adequate and the room was pretty quiet. The shower had great pressure and the bathroom was pretty big. All in all, a good stay for the money.

Highly recommend this hotel. It is a family run business and they were all very friendly. The family suite had lots of room for four adults. Very clean and quiet at night. Lots of restaurants to pick from nearby and close to the barberini metro/bus stop which takes you anywhere you would want to go in Rome.

Guiseppe was very kind and helpful. There was a problem with my ride to the airport due to an accident and he was supportive and got me a taxi immediately that got me there. Good place for a single woman.

Excellent location, rooms are very clean and staff were all exceptionally helpful. Close to bus and metro stops and central to all of Romes historical destinations. Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain only a 10-15 minute walk. Local restaurants are literally steps away. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The room was so beautiful and the location was great! The best part was probably the staff though - it is a family-owned business and we got to meet several of the family members. They were all so kind, helpful, and flexible both before and during our trip. They stored and cared for our luggage when we arrived early and were willing to offer an incredibly early check-out as well. We appreciated their delicious restaurant recommendations as well! We highly recommend this hotel! :)

The property was in a great location, walkable to all major sites and was kept clean, staff was very friendly, only thing I did not like was the fact I could hear everyone checking in and out from my room and all conversations in the lobby at all hours of the night, I was in the room next to the reception desk on the right which I feel is not a great spot to have a room, could also hear everyone going up and down the stairs
