Our stay at The Amazing Colossal was an utter nightmare. What was promised online per the listing —four bedrooms, luxury amenities, working appliances, and a clean, safe environment—was absolutely false. There was only one real bedroom and a broken pullout sofa (not the one pictured), which didn’t even lay flat. The safe was broken, internet didn’t work for over 24 hours, and the coffee maker was unusable. Worse, my children were bitten by bed bugs, and my daughter developed ringworm after sleeping on the infested sofa. We were forced to share the one bed the first night due to the unsafe and misleading setup. The management told me it was a misquito......which it was not. Despite only staying two of the five nights, both Amazing Colossal and Expedia are refusing to refund the remainder. This was not just a disappointing experience—it was a health and safety risk, and the FALSE advertising was blatantly deceptive. I am escalating this to my credit card company and warning others to stay far away from this property and these companies. This was far from luxury—it was a total scam. I have many videos and photos and the safe....it was broken and removable from the wall......

Really amazing place to stay next to colosseum. Great view of colosseum, tones of restaurants nearby, spacious ( in EU standards) , great for a family of 4, very clean and modern, all utensils available if some one wants to cook. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Arrived with two young kids on a Friday night. Great location, old but clean apartment, expensive but smooth check in, overall it looked promising. Then I ended up staying there freezing and shivering for two nights. The story is long and I suggest you check it on google as there is not enough characters allowed here. DO NOT LET THE GREAT LOCATION FOOL YOU, unless you are cool with being left frozen in the cold or hot in the summer. Also all what Expedia did was to say “ We are sorry” Nothing else and have been a gold member for years.

Perfect Location when traveling to Rome. The most amazing views of the Colosseum. The hosts were also amazing, very friendly, arranged transportation and provided great spots to eat, travel guides, etc. would definitely recommend!!!

Excellent accommodations should open be working around FAO. Also there is a venue next door that is used from time to time for outdoor concerts that run until midnight. Great if your looking for local entrainment, not so much if looking to catch an early night to bed. Also be sure to reconfirm any transportation arranged by the property, so not to be caught offgaurd.

This was easily the best accommodation we ever had. We literally had the Colosseum right outside the window. It is a unique experience. The staff was very friendly, responsive, and very helpful. Their tips on local food and what to visit off the beaten path were excellent. An overall amazing experience!!
