Everything we needed for just an overnight stay for a college visit. Would have liked to take advantage of the gym and pool but ran out of time. Room was quiet (except for the loud hum of the heating/AC unit) and bed was comfy.

Good, but not Great

Overall, a very nice place, and we no significant issues, but there are some things that look like are being taken care of in a timely fashion. The hallway carpets were all dirty and need a to be vacuumed. Not soiled, just not vacuumed recently. Two of the 4 Ice Machines (3rd and 4th Floors) had "Out Of Order" signs on them with directions to go to the 2nd Floor for ice. The grounds outside had lots of debris and, again, looks as though nobody is keeping up with picking up the trash.

We checked at registration that the bathroom was equip with hand rails, the only rail was inside the bath tub. We were given a "Hearing Impaired Room." I did not see that there were no rails initially so we did not ask to change rooms. I fell twice that night and then brought my walker into the bathroom so I would not fall again. I told the woman when we checked out that this was not an acceptable room for us! Next time we have medical appointments in Rochester I will be sure we get a safe room. Thanks!
