This is a nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The customer service is very good and the Hilton people are friendly and helpful. However, I had booked a room with a jetted tub. The tub was not clean; black hairs attached to two different jets, and questionable soap scum when the jets were running. That made me feel queasy. The shower; on the other hand, was very nice, The shower head was adjustable and the temperature was nice. When our room was cleaned during our visit, some surfaces were not wiped down. I noted they were sticky when I opened a case on top. Columbia does not have a big selection of nice hotels; and this is the best so far. We will opt out of the jetted tub next visit. Hopefully staff will clean the room a bit better, but overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to back.

The handicap-access shower was a problem. Very low water pressure so bathing took forever. Rickety shower bench. The shampoo and soap couldn't be reached from the shower head/bench area. Not very safe for my family member with limitations. Overall average stay. We actuality checked out a night early.

I was really surprised by the positive reviews and booked based on those. The rates were pretty reasonable, but they do add $75 for the night for pets. We have 2 dogs; between them they weight less than 15 lbs. The bedspread was white with black fuzz on it, along with a small spot. The room was worn, but that would be okay if it were clean. One of our dogs crawled under the bed. She has never done this and we travel a lot. We discovered she was finding items under the bed—chewed gum wrapped in paper, sticky candy and old tissues.

On initial check in at 330 our room was not available. Waited 20 min then had to ask. In my opinion it does not live up to Hilton standards. Room smelled like urine. No soap in the shower. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. No silverware in room. The TV was leaving in channels. I will say that overall the staff was mostly friendly.
