The property was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly, though busy and somewhat preoccupied. The parking situation is problematic and inadequate. We arrived late from an event at the Koger Center and there were NO parking places on site. The parking spaces were full and the overflow parked in every nook available. The handicap spaces were full with cars without tags, which was even more frustrating because we actually have a handicap tag and needed one. Their off-site parking is a block away in a garage. The front desk clerk told us to park on the street, though there were meters. She said the city allowed it, but we moved the car early morning, just in case. She also said that she suggested parking in the street because we are older and had a handicap tag. If we had been younger, she would have sent us straight to the parking garage. We were charged $14 for parking. The blackout shades are necessary due to the bright lights from neighboring buildings that light up the room at night. They need to toss the alarm clocks as ours went off in the middle of the night and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off except to unplug it. Everything else was fine, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room, great location, relatively reasonable price.
