"I came to the hotel with about 70 other people. It was my high school class and we met up in New York. The location is great. Just steps away from Times Square. The hotel is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. The staff was mostly helpful. One thing that I think that they really need to work on is the elevator system. They have what seems to be an attendant that sits by the elevator, and some of those attendance were very helpful and some were not. The elevator works in the system, where you go to one of four keypads, you enter the room you're going to, and then the system tells you what elevator you need to standby to go to your respected Floors. If you don't know that the elevator works in that manner, you would simply sit at the elevator, hitting the button with no results. Some elevator attendant does little to nothing to help the guests creating a bottleneck of people standing by the elevator, not knowing or understanding what to do to get to their floors. I saw one family ride the elevator and come all the way back down without even realizing why the elevator did not stop on their floor. The rooms were OK however my windowsill was dusty. The only microwave in the hotel is on the 29th floor and the top of the microwave was filled with dusk and the inside was dirty. A periodic cleaning would be good I thought so I came back the next day and the same dirt was in microwave as the day before. 😳. John the concierge was great. Very helpful very pleasant."
