Location is great, within walking distance of the Old National Road Welcome Center where you can get your Chocolate Trail passport which is a fantastic experience. This property is in bad need of a overall remodel. The breakfast is not stocked very well. It is a shame attention has not been given to this property because it's location to dining, shopping and points of interest is great.

There was food on the floor, the garage cans were extremely dirty and when I asked them to clean and return they put a clean bag in the can and return it still dirty with slimmy stuff in it, the eggs look like something in my granddaughter easy bake oven,,I asked for fresh towels the next day and they gave me stained towels, it was extremely terrible and I will never return there nor will I recommend anyone there this quality Inn needs to be seriously invested. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay then this is place but it's old (built 1970) and from way it looked not much has been done to upgrade it. There was no shower curtain had to ask at front desk. Valise over curtains in one corner was coming down. Breakfast was nothing like pictures. Coffee very watery. I had paid for a late check out and the room cards were shut down 45 mins prior to check out.

The beds were comfy but smelled mildewy, the 3rd floor specifically and the stairwell smelled strongly like pee I want ed to toss my cookies! We were excited for the pool but it was freezing (felt like about 20 degrees.) so my kids went in for about 15 min till they were cold to the bone and needed warm showers to get them warm before sleep. Breakfast was ok for a continental breakfast, but the front desk person seemed to be tending to everything so was not there to help 3 different guests upon our checkout and one customer walked in to the back to get milk cause it was empty and waited for at least 15 min.

Plus-plenty if parking Cons: poorly maintained property, first room was leaking water from ceiling, moved to 2nd room and it had a door with a 1/8”-1/4” gap when closed that was not secure or private, 3rd room had an odor and one of the two beds had dirty sheets, just gave up and slept in the not so dirty bed. Not staying here ever again.
