The room was clean. The bed hury my back. I am not sure if it was above or beside us but the second night someone was tappingbor running around all night. Either of us barely slept.

Clean. The room I was in had a plastic trash bad and maxi pad liner used as tape on the ceiling around the smoke alarm. floors were dirty and stained. Powerful odor to cover up other odors. Couch was completely worn out and disgusting. The armchair was mismatched cushions. Bathroom was dingy and the shower curtain was too small so the water ran out of the shower. overall establishment was filthy and smelled horrible.

This Candlewood Suites is a slept on gem in the Reading, PA area. Walking distance to a slew of diverse restaurants, breweries and grocery stores. Attentive staff who went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable with settling in for a few days. Free coffee, gym, laundry, fast wifi and free rental of games, books and other kitchen appliances; they’ve thought of everything. Would recommend it over the fancier hotels that I’ve stayed at before in the area.
