We took an impromptu trip to Raleigh. We got our room key from the front desk then left to enjoy the town with friends. Returning at 1230am we went into the room & immediately saw multiple roaches. We went to the front desk to complain & say we were leaving & wanted money back. The man at the desk passed us a card of the manager we could call monday morning. He seemed extremely unfazed by the issue.

Picture of Hotel online is deceiving, in front of Hotel is an Exxon with sketchy people everywhere and food truck. The next door Hotel at its left had even more people that seemed to me to be homeless and undocumented immigrants. Inside Hotel is very clean and Staff are friendly. To their credit they do the best they can with what they are given.

Very Clean
The hotel is modern, very clean, and convenient to WakeMed Hospital for those traveling for work there! While the area in the vicinity of the hotel is undesirable, the owners and staff have excellent security on the property and maintain excellent separation of guests with the outside drifters.

Stay was amazing. It was not to far from the major sites and had a great atmosphere. I was a little put off by the amount of parking and the no visitors rule, over all it was enjoyable.

The hotel staff were pleasant, the room was tidy and well appointed. Not a very walkable location. Neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy. The establishment had adequate security so we still felt safe.

This hotel is in a VERY unsafe area. I am only writing a review to help keep other travelers stay safe! My girlfriend and I arrived at the hotel and after seeing the amount of homeless people, prostitutes, and what appeared to be a gang we no showed our reservation. The image the hotel shows conveniently cuts out the two gas stations that are basically in its parking lot. There was a group of around 15 people approaching cars. The hotel only had parking in the front around this gas station and only one entrance. So this whole scene was unavoidable. The images are very very misleading.

Super sketchy location in back of gas station parking lot. Weird to get inside, clerk eventually waltzed up to glass window and buzzed us in (this was at 2pm). Have to use key card to get into hotel thru main front door, never seen that before but maybe im out of touch? Room was decent besides bedding feeling damp and only 2 pillows. Wont stay again.

It’s a room….
The overnight clerk Ricky was AMAZING!! The huge amount of long straight black hairs all over the floors was disgusting. I literally had to sweep twice to get it all up. Not to mention the wet mold smell. There’s no bars for the towels-they’re all rolled up under the sink

Property was dirty. There was signs saying no smoking and the hallways clear was sprayed to cover up smoke. Beds were dirty, the walls were filthy and so were the bathrooms. There was a fist fight outside the hotel and other questionable things going on. The front desk worker was rude.
