Ascott Makati did not disappoint. Despite being located in an area with loads of other hotels nearby, Ascott is competitive in a good way and it's strengths lie in providing a quick and seamless check-in, which you don't find in most hotels, plus the staff are genuinely helpful and friendly. The unit is clean, quiet and is well-supplied with items you would need for a good stay. There is drinking water, washing liquid and detergent for laundry. These litttle things make you appreciate the hotel even more. It is umbeatable when it comes to proximity to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay again in Ascott Makati.

The hotel was ok. We didnt have cable the entire stay, but they allowed us to screen mirror with our phones. There were too much construction going on around the area that made the hotel lobby hard to find.

We had the 2 bedroom suite room. Upon check in there were flies. On the 2nd day we found roaches in the main bathroom. Took a picture to show front desk. When calling the front desk, Charlene (char) from guest services had the worst attitude. I asked to be connected to front desk 4 times and finally had to go down to speak to front desk directly. All the other staff such as the security, bellhop, housekeeping and restaurant staff were the best. We probably won’t be staying at the makati location next time. The manager really needs to have a talk with Charlene about her abrasive attitude.

Accommodation and basic needs were met however since there was on-going construction in the front, access to outside transportation was inconvenient. TV remote worked on and off, it was replaced right away but did the same thing after awhile.
