At check in we were told one of the 2 elevators was not working so we had to park at the other end of the hotel from our room and walk it's entire length with our luggage. As we neared our room we saw a maintenance employee and asked about the elevator. He told us that it had been repaired hours earlier. I suggested that he inform the front desk. Never apologized or offered to help us.
We got to our room and unpacked. I used the toilet and the water circled the bowl without flushing. Maintenance came, plunged the toilet and said not to use too much paper. Really???
Next morning, same problem with the toilet, Same Maintenance person with a snake.
A few hours later, as we got ready to go to our appointment, again the same problem with the toilet not flushing.
I called the front desk and asked to move rooms. We were told to pack up everything and go down to the lobby to change rooms. I repeated what the front desk just told me not believing that no assistance or accommodation was offered... and was told, 'You're not listening to me. You need to pack up everything and come down to the front desk.' Alrighty then, great customer service!
We pack & move everything to the lobby get our key, go up to the second room... key does not work. I go back to the lobby. They redo the key. Go back up. Still not working. Back to lobby. Operations manager there. Explain the issue. He sends us up with staff to unlock the room and tells us he will bring up the keys later.
Horrible! Never again!
