We initially had problems with the air conditioning not working and the front door not opening with our key card but the staff worked hard to fix things. The room was beautiful but the patio cushions were torn. We left after 3 days and went to a different hotel (without compensation) because there are only 3 places to eat there. Due to the lack of business at the facility, they usually only had the one restaurant open for dinner but there was nothing on the limited menu that we could eat, we actually went back to our room and had peanut butter toast. The location is too far away from a grocery store to buy anything for your room so you’ll need to prepare for getting a taxi to take you shopping for food. The shuttle takes about 10-15 mins to get you down to the beach club, which was nice.
The staff was definitely friendly and helpful but the facility itself is the issue, food being the main concern.
We paid for 10 days stay but only ended up staying for 3 before we switched to another hotel so that we could enjoy our vacation. They only compensated us for one meal.
