1/5 – Shockingly Bad Experience for a Marriott We came here for our long-awaited honeymoon and our baby’s first birthday, and it was an absolute disappointment. Management was completely unhelpful and avoided us every time we asked for assistance. We had confirmed months in advance by phone and email that our room would include a microwave, kettle, and crib for our baby’s milk. Upon arrival, nothing was there. We were then told they couldn’t provide them. After two days of constant asking, they finally brought them. One of the managers, Zoara, was absolutely useless, and the general manager seemed afraid to face us. No accountability or real help — just avoidance and empty promises. Showers were cold every day. The beach was unsafe with steep drop-offs and strong undercurrents. The resort layout is terrible for families; long walks or 30–60 minute waits for golf carts are the norm. Service everywhere was painfully slow — even the taco truck took 45 minutes for lunch. Half the resort was under construction, one of the nicest pools was closed, and a restaurant entrance felt unsafe. We were promised something special for our honeymoon and baby’s birthday — they did nothing. For a Marriott, this was shockingly poor. Broken promises, bad management, cold showers, and endless waiting. Save yourself the frustration and stay elsewhere.

The over all experience was amazing. The bar tenders were super knowledgeable and ready to sever our drinks. The busboys were always so kind and polite. One particular was Mr Ulises, he was so helpful and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend to stay there.

The entire experience was amazing, only one catch if you booked all inclusive expect to starve for lunch because it's not buffet rather than just a very limited menu , here they could do better but the rest of meals was good and pleasant stay.

Beautiful property, lots of walking but also lots of transport on golf carts, those guys were great. I had rented a car and the valet guys were great too. Actually ALL the staff were great, very accommodating. Food was a mix, sometimes really good sometimes meh. Always good salad and little desserts. 2 buffets, one mexican, one italian and a taco truck with handmade tortillas right there. Only complaint was my room felt old and dirty in places even though I know it had been cleaned. The view was beautiful though and the bed was super comfy so I didn't care as much, but really they should replace the couch.
