Positives: Hotel is clean, safe and easy parking. Free shuttle to campus and town within 5 miles is a great perk. Negatives. Room is small. Refrigerator is too small. Cleanliness of room and bathroom was subpar. Late checkout requested at booking, then revoked on checkout date due to conference arrivals.

Staff was courteous upon arrival and departure. The room was clean for the most part. The window was not. We loved the beds and the atmosphere in the room. Shower was nice. We had difficulty getting certain stations on the tv. We finally got a show on the tv and started watching it for 10 minutes and then the spiral came on. We just turned the tv off and went to bed.

We love the Penn Stater. Been staying there since 2018. It is “newly renovated” though the room seemed to be 95% finished w the bathroom still needing work. Good restaurants on site. Complimentary coffee in lobby. Ample parking.
