Pictures on site are extremely deceiving!! Hotel located in part of town so bad the Uber drivers kept cancelling. What appears as black mold on bathroom ceiling and walls. Ended up booking a different hotel for the rest of the trip

It is an older hotel. It looks like they just put in new flooring. The lobby was clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The bedroom window was open when we went into the room on the 2nd floor. So you know the cleaning people knew about it We had paid for a non smoking room. The smoke detector was covered in a plastic bag. After we came back from dinner we tried to turn on the TV, the cable box would not turn on, so there were no channels.
