After stumbling upon the hotel of horrors earlier, we were in need of a last-minute place to stay the night. The booking was easy, the hotel is cute, but most of all the staff were SUPERB. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the parking lot. There's only a few spaces in front of the building, and the rest are in their attached parking garage. Not a problem, except for check-in there were no parking spots so we had to sit on the middle of the incredibly narrow front lot with our hazards on, and someone was else seemed to take issue with it.

Clean and colorful hotel
Very clean and very colorful hotel close to restaurants and the Schuylkill river. A/C worked great and wasn't noisy. Beds were firm but comfortable. Curtains did not fully block outside light and shower doors kept sliding open forcing us to hold them shut with a foot. But still a good value.

Overall, the property was great. Just a few minor cosmetic issues in the room. The smoke detector was ripped out of the wall, and one of the window shades was falling down. The room was clean. The hotel has a noticeable perfume smell throughout and while it smells good, I can see it being a problem for those of us allergies. Also, it is a no smoking hotel and signs are everywhere stating that, but there was obvious smoking going on, on the 2nd floor. The smoke smell with the perfume smell, did cause my allergies to flare up. With that said, I would definitely stay here again.
