This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast crumpets were very good. It is centrally located to downtown Hamilton. We will come back again!

GREAT boutique style hotel away from the crowds

Pros: Staff, gardens, food, pool, overall feel was just great.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing!
Location: We rented a scooter and rode that thing morning to night. Went end to end and enjoyed every minute of it. Cooper Island is a must!
Wow, we just got back and don't know where to begin about our experience. Warning: if you are looking for a "tourist hotel" where there's 24-hour food, an olympic-sized swimming pool where there's never enough chairs, a staff that's generally unaware, and air conditioning is every square inch of the facility, the Royal Palms is not for you. They are, however, simply the nicest vacation facility we've ever stayed! STAFF: Second to none. Every single member of the staff went out of their way to make sure you knew where you were going and had what you needed at any time. And the words gracious and friendly don't begin to describe these people as individuals. We have countless stories of our encounters with all of the staff that left us with jaws dropped! FOOD: OK, so it's not the cheapest place to eat in Bermuda, but, the food was amazing. We ate at both hotel restaurants and food was great. Service was even better! ROOM: Clean and well kept by the staff. Look folks, this hotel is not for everyone. Probably not the best for small kids. This place really caters to the business traveler and more refined vacationer. If you enjoy going on cruises and being with the big crowds don't bother with Royal Palms.
