Pas-de-Jeu Hotel & Travel Guide\n
There are very few hotel options on Travelocity within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) distance of downtown Pas-de-Jeu. We recommend that you book as soon as you can if you are thinking of staying close to the action.
The Les Suites du Château, Centre - Loire Valley, which is the nearest accommodation, is situated 17 miles (28 kilometers) from central Pas-de-Jeu. Another Travelocity-listed option is the Château de Saint-Loup, which is located in Poitou-Charentes, 14 miles (23 kilometers) from the central area of Pas-de-Jeu.
15 miles (24 kilometers) outside of the city center of Pas-de-Jeu, you will find the Hostellerie La Croix Blanche. Alternatively, the Le Chai de la Paleine is 13 miles (21 kilometers) away. Two other places to stay here include the Hôtel Renaudot along with the Campanile Saumur.
After you have spent time in Pas-de-Jeu, ensure you allow time to visit Poitou-Charentes's other attractions. Move around Poitou-Charentes's ruins, old towns and fortresses. Lovers of the great outdoors could also take the time to check out the region's rural landscapes and beaches. In this section of France adventurous travelers may partake in cycling tours and city walking tours.
Looking for activities? Spend some time exploring Chateau de Niort and Niort Cathedral, which you'll find in Niort, 50 miles (79 kilometers) southwest of Pas-de-Jeu. Some of our recommended Niort hotels and accommodations include the Mercure Niort Marais Poitevin and Best Western Hotel De La Breche. 50 miles (83 kilometers) south of Pas-de-Jeu, you'll also find Melle, which boasts the Hotel l'Argentière and Hôtel les Glycines. The Mines d'Argent and Saint-Hilaire Church are more frequented attractions to explore for those visiting Melle.
Ensure you get your serving of local sport by taking a journey to Stade de la Vallee du Cher, which is located 45 miles (74 kilometers) to the northeast of Pas-de-Jeu. Sleep right in the thick of the sporting action at the Art Hôtel Rochecorbon or the Clarion Hotel Château Belmont Tours.
For modern travelers traveling through Biard Airport, you might like to stay at Mercure Poitiers Centre, or Citotel Le Plat d'Etain, which are both located a short distance away.

Fontevraud L'Ermitage
"If you love hotels with history, this is the place for you. Once a monastery, then a prison, and now the resting place of Richard the Lionheart, staying here feels like being immersed in centuries of French history. The setting within the former Fontevraud Abbey is truly unique and gives the hotel an atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere. Just outside the hotel grounds is the picturesque village of Fontevraud-l'Abbaye, with restaurants, bars and a traditional boulangerie. One of my favourite memories was heading out for my early morning runs before the day had begun and smelling fresh bread and pastries coming from the boulangerie. It was one of those simple, wonderfully French moments that really added to the experience. The hotel also makes a great base for exploring the Loire Valley, with its châteaux, vineyards and beautiful countryside all within easy reach. After a day of exploring, returning to the peaceful surroundings of the abbey was a real pleasure. For a special occasion, I’d definitely recommend treating yourself to dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. It was the perfect way to round off our stay and made the whole experience even more memorable. Overall, this is much more than simply a place to stay. The combination of history, character, location and atmosphere makes Fontevraud L’Ermitage a genuinely memorable hotel experience."
