Lovely Stay

Our family of 12 had a wonderful stay. The location was in close walking distance to the beautiful beach and easy access to the pool. We felt safe letting our kids ride bikes and take walks to the beach and pool because access was convenient. I was very impressed with how many bath towels were provided in every bathroom. We didn’t cook as much as I had hoped but cookware is provided but I prefer to bring my own as I am picky. I also brought my own coffee maker but Keurig was available. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back!

This place is over price! All.the fees was more then the rate! However, i was willing to over look all that because so many great reviews of 30A beaches. Once in this place, it was hard to reason my cost. Here are ways to improve 1. Make sure beds are cleaned before guest comes. Our beds had sand in them. 2. GET some rugs!!! We had to keep a towel next to our bed to wipe our feet so we don't get sand in the bed. 3.Stock your kitchen up as families like to cook while there. Not every family goes out to eat everyday. One small pan does not make the cut! 4 Give your guest more dish soap! It is one thing to be cheap on giving washing soap but dish soap you want your guest to clean after themselves well for you! BUT I would be ok with most of these issues if the beach was less crowded! I was there in second week of August and felt we were packed in! The beach is beautiful but the amount of people there was hard to enjoyed it. Also, the beach service company took up most of the beach. We would had to shell out another 1k foe the week for just two chairs and one umbrella. Then your HOA will not allow my sumberlla, which is not a tent! Will not be back to this place.

Great Location!

Great location! Short Walk to The Beach And To The Pool! The Pool Was A Great Hangout For Our Teens at Night! Overall the Property was Nice, 4 Stars, Could Be 5 Stars with a Few Easy But Necessary Improvements. Kitchen ware: plates, utensils, cooking ware all needs a refresh, this property sleeps 14 but there are 8 forks, no whisk, pot holders, oven mitts, spatulas, can opener…..none of the basics to cook. One nonstick pan which needs to be replaced, no bakeware etc. Dryer works but is all rusted on top, hallways need repainting and decor added, very sterile. No rugs in the entire house, our feet were black and had to put a towel by the bed to wipe our feet on. All Super Easy Upgrades but need to be there for $1000 a night property once the taxes and fees are added. I would stay at this property again if these improvements were made.

Amazing!!! Amazing!!! Amazing!!! Not one thing I/we could complain about. We spent out week in paradise. The location was perfect to everything around us….the pool, the beach, the shop & dining. We WILL be back!

Great Trip!!!!

This house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds were great!!! 2-3 minutes to the pool and 2-3 minutes to beach-perfect for both!!! We had a great trip-so ething for everyone in Seacrest Beach!!!!

Our wonderful family vacation in Seacrest Beach and how perfect Walkin On Sunshine was for us!

We absolutely loved this property!! It was the perfect amount of space for 13 of us-10 adults and three kids under 2 and under. The pictures were very accurate. It was very clean when we arrived which made this mama happy. Our family is spread out over the country and this is the second time we have come to Seacrest Beach to vacation together. We needed a bigger place that allowed our three grand babies a quiet place to nap and sleep. The rooms were huge and allowed us space for cribs and pack n plays. It was nice to have bathrooms for each room of the house. The third floor allowed for the single adults in our group to get away and sleep in away from early rising babies. We all enjoyed the rooftop deck that allowed us to sit and have special time as a family under the stars and in view of the ocean and sunsets. The location between the pool and beach couldn't have been better. I would say my only suggestion would be to have more mirrors. There were no mirrors in the bedrooms, only in the bathrooms. This would have made getting ready easier. We had a special event on Thursday and at least one long mirror in the house to view outfits would have been helpful. But other than that, everything was great!! The only other thing I would say is that they need to expand the public beach. Renting chairs every day is costly when you are paying for 13 people to come for the week. My husband had to get to the beach at 5 AM to set up our chairs to get a good spot. I would like to see Seacrest Beach expand the public beach space and decrease the paid chair and umbrella set up. Many of them were unused while people were crammed on the tiny public beach spot. Thank you so much for providing a beautiful home to vacation in.

So Much Potential

We have been vising this particular neighborhood (Seacrest) for 15+ years and have stayed in many different houses within the community so have a good feel for what the houses should include. THE GOOD: The location is top notch. Right on 30A across from the beach access. You'll never have to wait for the tram and the walk to the beach (or pool) is really short. This is key if you are lugging beach gear. There’s plenty of room for guests of all ages, including a bedroom with full bath on the main level. The beds were comfortable. The top floor balcony is a fantastic spot for late afternoon happy hours and people watching, plus you can catch a glimpse of the gulf. The property came with four bikes which appeared to be brand new, although we didn’t need them because of the house location – we just walked. The house was generally clean and comfortable. THE NOT SO GOOD: The owners should drop the property management company. They are more concerned with marketing than maintaining the property. You will instantly be put on their e-mail list and text list for properties for sale, etc. You are welcomed to the property with a gift…a T-shirt bearing their logo. The check-in time is an hour later than most (4pm) and check-out is an hour earlier (9am) The ice maker didn’t work for our entire stay – we made a couple calls (sometimes getting a recording), they came out but never fixed it, so we had to keep making trips to the convenience store for ice. A house that sleeps 14 should have an undercounter icemaker like most of the renovated properties in this development. We also let them know that the front door sticks and is hard to open but they were unable to fix that either. The kitchen wasn’t as well stocked as other homes here. Not even salt and pepper shakers. Finally, while disclosed in the house description, not supplying beach towels at a beach rental is ridiculous. Never seen that before here or at any beach property. What if you fly in? Do you pack a suitcase of beach towels? We would stay here again but would wait for a management change.

Great spot

Spent 5 days during Spring Break 2022 in this house. Great location in Seacrest! You can walk to beach or ride the golf cart shuttle service. House is laid out well for adults and teens. Highly recommend!
