Would recommend if you can get a quiet room
Very helpful staff and a great location. The 3 stars is for noise. It may be the room we had, but we could hear everything in the room above us, and the ceiling creaked loudly whenever people walked in room above us. We didn’t sleep well at all any of the 4 nights. I would consider staying again if I could reserve a top floor room and something away from the stairwell.

The grounds are nice and the rooms are clean. However, they charge a resort fee for WiFi which does not work, and they knocked on our door at 8:30am to clean. We were only there for one night so they should have waited until we checked out.

I spent nearly a week here during a workshop at Stanford. The room was clean, modern, and they even upgraded us to a larger space. Since flight timing didn’t match up neatly with check-in and checkout times, they securely held our luggage for hours. My wife and I like to walk and routinely covered the 1.5 miles to the nearby dining options, which are plentiful. The deli near the property is “California expensive” but it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The breakfast is small but tasty. If you’re going to Palo Alto, I’m not sure why you would stay anywhere else.

Signage to find the lobby is poor. The first sign that says lobby with the arrow, Ignore. Look for a center second sign. Without apology, the hotel limited parking as they worked on 80% of the parking lot. It was obvious that many guest would not get a space. When I asked what was the plan for guest who returned and couldn’t park, I was told to get an UBER! There was no plan. People parked everywhere, and it was extremely difficult to maneuver around other double parked cars and get out of spaces with a limited area for traffic to flow. The employees and manager at this location never provided assistance, apology, or a kind word. They were abrupt and dismissive. We stayed 2 nights and were charged 3 days parking (amenity fee). $30.00. Under such circumstances discounting the $30.00 fee would seem reasonable. I would stay somewhere closer to Berkeley. We enjoyed that area, and ate at The Melt as we toured the college. Several restaurants around the hotel were out of business. It is a lovely area and could be a top notch property with a management team focused upon the needs of their guest. Palo Alto is an exceptional area with many many wonderful and welcoming hotels.

There were a lot of things to really like about the Creekside Inn. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The grounds were lovely . Unfortunately there was a parking lot repaving apparently scheduled for the time we were staying. We were not informed before we arrived and there were no arrangements made for guests to make it more convenient.The entrances and parking were taped off. We were in the first building and ended up having to park outside the property. My husband and I have some health issues that made this very challenging. When we booked it said parking was available at the hotel. It was very disappointing that management did not handle this in a considerate ,thoughtful manner for their guests.
