We checked into our room & immediately noticed an oder of mildew, or mold. We decided to turn the AC, in an attempt to air out the room. We remained in the room for toughly 30 min. My Mother & I developed a severe headache & my 15 yr old son started to experience respiratory concerns. He has asthma, which has been under control. We exited the property for fresh air. I approached the person at the front desk re: my concerns. I inquired about another room and he stated, “All the rooms are the same!” We explained that due to these above mentioned concerns, we could not stay at this property & requested a refund. The person at the front desk was not helpful at all. He continued to blame Expedia & gave every excuse possible, rather than discuss the health concerns. I reached out to Expedia for assistance & was informed that they would contact the property to discuss my concerns. I received a follow up call from Expedia only to relay how uncooperative the front desk person was at the property. He made multiple excuses & refused to issue a refund. I returned to the office to express my frustration to the front desk clerk & was met with the same excuses. He continued to blame Expedia for not issuing a refund. This saga has continued with no resolve & no refund. Even after explaining that my son’s health is being jeopardized. This hotel should be ashamed of themselves & I urgently encourage no other person to book this property. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Good one-night stay

For a simple one-night stay by myself, this hotel was fine. It was not far from Hersheypark and the price was very good for the area. The room, bed sheets, bathroom and towels were clean. The refrigerator was nice to have in the room. The bathroom sink faucet could not produce hot water, even after running the water for a while, and I notified the front desk about on check-out. The breakfast was very basic, located at the front desk, and there was no place to eat besides taking it back to the room. I only had a waffle. The bananas were too ripe and a gallon of milk was sitting out on the counter. There was juice and coffee available. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They even helped me using the waffle maker and the batter. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay.

Great place for a short stay

Very clean and comfortable. Good value for the price. Although just a 2-star hotel the room was very well maintained. Small bathroom but recently renovated and clean.

The reviews were just as described. Clean and super quiet. We also chose this motel as it was about 6 miles from the park and we didn't need to pay for a hotel that we weren't using any of the amenities. It was situated away from the business of the area. Would book again.
