The room had a pre-existing leak as evidenced by patch work and musty odor. This was confirmed during our stay as it rained during two nights of our three night stay. I immediately contacted the front desk and was given lip service with no action. As a result, I had to continually empty tree bowls that kept filling with water and the only support received was three small towels. I was assured I would be relocated, that maintenance would immediately be called to supper and neither happened. I spent two nights and two days mitigating the leak versus enjoying our holiday getaway.
I provided continual updates and pictures of the leak that resulted in substantial damage to the kitchen cabinet, ceiling, and multiple walls.
The leak was not addressed during my stay and I was forced to deal with it myself.
Absolutely unacceptable and by far, my worst stay in any hotel, period. There is no sense of pride in ownership and much less for the care of their “guests.”

I understand rain is out of anyone's control. That said, there were things that could have been implemented, well within your control, to help soften the impact the major water leak had on our holiday get away.
The water leak prohibited us from enjoying our stay and fully taking advantage of the kitchenette; main reason we booked the Twist over others…
