A delightful Valentine’s Day weekend getaway

This was a wonderful Valentine’s weekend stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and our stay was very relaxing. There was some confusion during the stay as I paid on one card but used another for the deposit. They ended up charging both cards, which was a bit or a problem. However, the GM was able to explain everything and was extremely helpful. Everybody there was polite and very welcoming. Also, the phone to ring the front desk was not working. They called when my food order had arrived, but couldn’t hear me. Not to mention it looked like it was a phone dating back before I was born. That could use some updating.

They charged extra money to hold on my card which is ridiculous and says it takes a couple of business days..the pool was beyond busy...there's a worker at the pool door only taking room numbers. It should be a swipe system. There's people going with duffle bags and coats to the pool. It appears they allow people who are not hotel guests in the pool. I have never seen a hotel pool that busy, too crowded! The room is clean but looks terribly outdated and all furniture is scuffed and worn out. We won't be coming back.

Dissapointing

The heating system was so loud and inefficient that even with earplugs, it was impossible to sleep. Cleaning crew came in early. Checkin crew icy at best.
