Fabulous and private, this spacious house is minutes from the Village at Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley) and 5 minutes from the Everline (formerly Resort at Squaw Creek) for skiing. The bike path is across from the house allowing easy access for walking to the village and hiking in the summer. The open-plan living plan with entertainment area, kitchen, dining and living room creates the perfect atmosphere for entertaining and family gatherings. The upgrades features, large kitchen, multiple living rooms, games, and hot tub make this house a relaxing no hassle get away. Returning guests, had a great family trip again!

This was our second time staying at this house and everyone had a great time. Our party included three families with children ages 6-18. Everyone had enough space to lounge and rest but the large dining table allowed everyone to come together for meals which was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare and cook meals for our party of 12. It is conveniently located right off the main road. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for families

This house is perfect for families. We brought our families here for a stay together and the location was stunning. The views were incredible and we would love to visit squaw again. We thought the communication with the rental company was great. We asked for an early check in day before and they were more than happy to accommodate. We did however want to share a few things that we thought could be improved upon. The cleaning was okay but definitely could have been improved on. The floors were dusty and sticky in some places (especially in the kitchen). We also had a hard time finding towels- there were enough but it was just barely enough. And no extras for hot tub purposes. Lastly, due to the hot tub cleaning fee- not sure if it’s in between guests or just every once in a while the hot tub was fully emptied as we were arriving and we had planned to use it both nights but unfortunately the water was still so cold the first night from it being dumped we were unable to use it which was a bummer due to how much we paid for the cleaning. Overall it was a great stay and we had a great time.

Great Location & Layout, but Some Issues

The property's location is unbeatable and very convenient off the main drag to Palisades resort. The kitchen is new and beautiful and the open concept 2 living room, dining room, and kitchen is great for groups looking to spend time together. The house had games and decks of cards which were a nice touch! There were a couple issues with our stay that are preventing me from giving 5 stars. We were a group of 15 people skiing and there were only 6 bath towels in the house, no hand towels and no dish towels. We alerted the host to this issue and were told that the cleaners were going to drop some off but the towels never came before we checked out of our weekend long stay. The other negative of this property is that the WiFi did not work. Since we were only spending the weekend, it was not an issue, but you couldn't work from home from here. All in all, would stay again but only for a weekend and only if there are towels

Family vacation

The house was very nice except many of the windows down stairs were broken and so we were unable to open. It was very hot and with no AC and only one fan for down stairs it got very stuffy! The upstairs had two fans and they needed those. So if you can , bring a extra fan. The property managers were very helpful. The barbecue grill wasn’t working so they brought us one too use. Overall this was a wonderful family time. The kitchen was perfect for us 4 families cooking

Place was not clean at all!

I was surprised by the reviews given the place was dirty and old. The kitchen had stains from the previous users all over the counters drawers fridge. I had to go and wipe down everything. The bedsheets had stains on them. The place took 12 hrs to get heated. There was a $150 hot tub fee and yet I had to clean it myself and barely wanted to use because was so dirty....brown stuff floating in it...great location but place was dirty. Wouldn’t stay again. So many new options being built right down the street.

The house size is fabulous for large groups. Loved having 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Great indoor/outdoor living areas. Bbq needs to be replaced, some appliances broken and/or not maintained. Property mgmt not communicative.

My family and I had a great time here and the place is as described. Location is perfect and really close to Squaw Valley USA resort. Excellent location for skiing - cannot be beat

This house has the absolute perfect location for skiing at Squaw -- I cannot imagine how different our trip would have been if we had been further off mountain given the volume of traffic getting to Squaw every morning. The house itself is lovely and has many nice touches (i.e. radiant heat, big kitchen, two fireplaces, hot tub). We had a few minor hiccups upon arrival (shower faucets not working, water too hot, etc.) but the management company fixed them quickly. The bunk room is perfect for a group of kids (sleeps 6) and other bedrooms are a nice size. Again, the location is so key for skiing. I couldn't believe the amount of traffic going by to get to Squaw and heard stories about back-ups each day. It took us less than three minutes to get to the base and back every morning and afternoon -- ideal way to start and end your ski day!!

Great house for

We stayed at this property over the Christmas holiday. We had 4 adults and 6 children (ages 9-15). The master suite was large and the bathroom spacious and modern. The second "adult" king-bedroom was also spacious; however, the bathroom was a little small, but adequate. The two upstairs rooms, both with bathrooms were spacious and modern. The bunk room, while a little "tight" is great for a group of kids, like we had (we made them use the upstairs bathrooms, as the bunk room adjoins to the master suite and bathroom. We loved the large, well equipped kitchen (but knives were super dull ... just beware)! The kids LOVED "family" lounge area off of the kitchen. The other lounge area off of the other side of the kitchen was comfortable and roomy. It was nice that there were places for both kids and adult to comfortably hang out. The large kitchen / dining room table was great for our large group for meals and for playing game. Also, the house is SUPER convenient to the mountain. It's a quick (less than 5-min. drive from house to slopes). The kids (and adults) loved the hot tub at the end of the day. While we didn't take advantage of them, I think it's good to note, they had a ton of board games for kids and families.

Beautiful Space and GREAT location!

My crew of 14 adults loved this space and property and would defintely suggest you stay here. Nice layout. Clean. Spacious. Really close to Squaw Valley. There are a couple of things that could be done better - There was not much room in the closets (they had heaters and fans and bags of stuff in the closets) and there were very little hangers to hang things in closets. The showers are beautiful and clean and nice but the faucet to adjust the temperature of the water is super confusing and needs to be adjusted professionally to run correctly. And finally we spent ALOT of money (close to $3000) for a 2 night stay and they charged us for an early arrival (earlier than 4 PM) and late (later than 11 AM) departure and just felt like we were being nickled and dimed.

Great house so close to mountain

House is a stone's throw from base at Sqauw Valley village and lifts. Awesome layout, with plenty of room for everyone. The deck was a great hang out place and hottub was clean and hot. All good. The only draw back was no fire pit or use of fire places...which would be nice in the Winter to warm up after being on mountain. No big deal for Spring skiing, but would be a tough sell in the Winter. Other than that, all sorts of good.

Curbside appeal not great but once inside the home it is quite spacious and worked well for our family of 5 adults and 5 children. Could stand upgraded coffee maker - or at least provide more filters! - and just a bit of laundry soap would have been appreciated as there are no stores close by.

Phenomenal Place!

Fantastic place. We had 12 guests total - all adults. We served 25 people dinner (family that stayed nearby) several nights and the large open space in the kitchen area was perfect. Well stocked with pots, pans, dishes. Both wood burning and gas fireplaces. Wonderful hot tub. Steam shower in master bath. Awesome place. Located within quick walk to Ski area, shops and spa. Made for a perfect Christmas holiday! We even found a tree with ornaments! Highly recommend this place!
