Sheraton Fallsview Hotel
"Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing, especially considering the condition and maintenance of the room. The bathroom had only a fixed shower head, which was very inconvenient for a child to use. The sink (lavabo) would also fill up with water every time we used it, and the bottom of the sink was visibly rusty, which was unpleasant and did not give the impression that the bathroom was well maintained. There was also an issue with housekeeping and the bed. After the bed was made, the corners of the bedding were sometimes left hanging down onto the floor. My son stepped on it twice and actually fell because of it. This is not only inconvenient but also a safety concern that should have been addressed by housekeeping. We also noticed that the room only had one sofa. This made the room less comfortable. For the price of the stay, we expected a much better level of cleanliness, maintenance, comfort, and safety. The concierge in the lobby told us we can buy WEGO passes on the bus directly when it was not the case! We walked to the bus stop to get refused by the bus driver! Sale is online actually. During the breakfast buffet time, the omelet making lady sprinkled salt and pepper only on one side of the omelet, the omelet was salty on one side only and she does not seem welcoming! We chose the hotel due to its very short walking distance to Clifton hill and the falls. The announcement and the management of the fire alarm by the staffs was outstanding."
