Although older, the property was renovated in 2023. Extremely clean suite and bath. The restaurant in the hotel is very good. The balcony was nice. The hotel is right on the beach with easy access. The property grounds has a great pool and lounge area.

Ocean/pool view. Renovated room. Semi-stocked kitchen. We were given the wrong room number upon check-in. People were in the room number they gave us. Then we were told the correct room number, which was not the room we booked. We were moved to a different room with two beds instead of one. No discount offered after these inconveniences. Parking is $10 to park at the hotel that you already paid for.

I've stayed at this hotel several times. This was the first we stayed in a room on the first floor. The hvac/AC unit was very loud. We heard it cut on and off all day and night. Also, the carpet was very dirty.

The amenities were very nice. The staff was absolutely amazing and some of the kindest people of ever came across. I only wish I could remember their names to mention them in. This The rooms are very dated and nothing like the brochure/Internet pictures. Bathrooms are dated and water. Pressure is not strong.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn 2 weeks ago at the location on the boardwalk . It was beautiful . Clean and updated . I came back for a night during bike week and the same hotel was booked so i tried this one located on the beach . The front area of the hotel where you check in is renovated , bright , clean , smells great . Once you leave the lobby and go to the elevators to get to your room it’s a different story . The hallways smelled like mildew. There was zero lighting as if you were walking through tunnels , and the elevator closed while my husband was entering it. I stuck my bag there to keep it open and the doors still closed on it because it’s so old . The room was from 1980’s. All old furniture .., the room smelled musty and the bathroom mirror had black marks smeared all over it . Looks like rooms have not been renovated in over 20 years . They were totally booked and i could not change my room. For the price they are charging i expected a lot better than that . The pictures are very deceiving . The back of the hotel : the pool , and beach were beautiful . They need to invest money on the inside . Not fair to rent out rooms that look and smell that way. If my stay was more than one night i would have left the hotel and found a new one . Do better IHG.
