The Hollywood Roosevelt
"This historic hotel was great. Right opposite The Chinese theatre, on the walk of fame, near bus tours, shops and places to eat. The room was compact as was the bathroom. You kind of had to do a dance with the bathroom door to get out. The bathroom floor was a bit grubby. Staff were very attentive. Bar staff were amazing. I had a cocktail made just for me :) There was an event on which we were only told about 2 days before. So the lobby bar was only usable for 1 night of our stay which was frustrating. We had to use the service lift and the normal lifts had temporary padding in them. Bit of a shame and slightly frustrating on a 3 night stay of a very special holiday. Not sure I would stay again."

Sheraton Universal Hotel
"My husband and I were there at the end of September for two nights. We had booked tickets for Universal Studios, and Warner Brothers Studios. We loved that this hotel had their own shuttle to Universal Studios, it saved us from walking and was very convenient. They do have a Starbucks in their hotel making it easy for us to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich to go. They have a nice pool, however, we just didn't have time to enjoy it. My husband did use their gym, and he said they had everything he needed to have a good workout. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. On check out day, we needed to store our luggage so that we could go to Warner Bros. in the morning making it convenient and easy for us and giving us peace of mind that our luggage would be safe. All in all, it was a nice clean place to stay."
