"Keeping in mind that the Riverwalk Inn is over 65 years old, which the staff is very candid about, this is a nice place to stay. Generally, the rooms are well maintained, and absolutely clean. The view from the balcony is so peaceful, and gives the guests a sense of what Astoria is. The breakfast is typical offerings, and the breakfast area is as clean and nice as the rooms."

Rooms w a higher cost have dunes/ocean view. We paid for view and loved it. Super friendly reception. Breakfast fine. Our room had a gas fireplace (but we did not use) for cozy nights. We would say that our room was on the smaller side, but sufficient. With queen bed had space for two chairs and small table. Consider tradeoffs btw location/cost/level of wear."
