Step into your private courtyard where the noise of the day fades — just a crackling firepit, two orange Adirondack chairs, and a 10x10 mural by Park Circle's own street artist Patch Whisky glowing on the wall beside you. Inside, industrial-minimalist design meets total quiet: skylights, exposed beams, and a queen bed you'll actually sleep in. Superhost Mike has provided 5-Star guest experiences for more than a decade. Park Circle's best bars and restaurants are a five-minute walk away.
Our guests are afforded complete privacy, but we are close by in the event that any assistance is needed.

Our guests park in their own designated spot within a shared driveway - beyond that, we have designed the space to ensure both yours and our privacy. The courtyard and tiny home are fenced off so as to create a completely separate space. Please note that if we are both utilizing our outdoor spaces, we may be able to hear each other, as they are close in location.
The Olde Village Loft sits tucked into a private backyard setting in the heart of Park Circle, North Charleston's most walkable and eclectic neighborhood. This one-bedroom guesthouse was custom-built with an industrial-minimalist eye — natural materials, finished concrete floors, exposed beams, and skylights that flood the space with daylight, honoring the neighborhood's working-class roots.
Climb the extra-wide, oversized-handrail ladder up to the loft-style sleeping area, where a queen bed with clean linens waits under the skylights, bedside lamps with built-in USB ports, plus a leather swivel chair for a glass of wine before lights-out. Downstairs, the industrial-minimalist kitchen — exposed plumbing, butcher block counter, farmhouse sink — is stocked for a real meal: induction burner with pot and pan, chef-grade knife set, dishware, and a Keurig coffee bar with pods, sweetener, and creamer. A small fridge arrives stocked with two complimentary bottled waters.
The bathroom carries the same rustic character, and it's the room guests rave about most — the oversized rain-down showerhead turns a regular shower into a genuine reset. A 42-inch Smart TV with Prime Video and Netflix, a Mitsubishi split heating/cooling system, fast WiFi, a dedicated workspace, and board games round out the interior.
Outside is the real showstopper: a private courtyard with a firepit, string lighting, and two orange Adirondack chairs made for an evening of wine and conversation. A stamped-concrete patio with a bistro table is the spot for morning coffee — all beneath a 10x10 mural hand-painted by Patch Whisky, Park Circle's own celebrity street artist.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY
Park Circle is North Charleston's most walkable neighborhood, and East Montague Avenue — the historic "Main Street" — is a half-mile stroll from the door (about 2 minutes driving). Along it: EVO Pizzeria, Madra Rua Irish Pub, Tattooed Moose, DIG in the Park, and Sesame Burgers & Beer, plus coffee shops, wine bars, and a dive bar with vintage arcade games. Firefly Distillery, the oldest continually operating distillery in Charleston, hosts tastings and outdoor concerts about 5 minutes away.
Downtown Charleston's historic district is about a 15-minute drive, putting Rainbow Row and the City Market within easy reach. Riverfront Park's Cooper River views are roughly 10 minutes away, and Charleston International Airport is about 10 minutes by car. Sullivan's Island is about 20-25 minutes and Folly Beach about 30-35 minutes — easy day trips, which is why we stock beach essentials. The H.L. Hunley Submarine exhibit is minutes away, and families will love the free disc golf course and inclusive playground.
WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
Couples celebrating something — an anniversary, a just-because weekend — will love the firepit courtyard and the privacy of a stand-alone loft tucked off the street. Solo travelers wanting a design-forward home base will appreciate the quiet interior and dedicated workspace. Weekend visitors here for a Park Circle food-and-drink crawl can walk to nearly a dozen restaurants and bars. Out-of-towners in town for an event at the North Charleston Coliseum & PAC will find the loft a short drive away. This home suits 2 guests — an intimate retreat, not a group getaway.
GUEST ACCESS
Check-in is fully self-guided: you'll receive a unique door code 24 hours before arrival, and keypad entry with an automatic dusk-to-dawn lamp makes for an easy arrival any time after 4:00 PM. Your private entrance means you never cross paths with the main house, and the entire loft — bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, courtyard, and patio — is exclusively yours for your stay. Host Michael lives close by if you need anything, but otherwise gives guests full privacy.
PARKING
Free, off-street driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles, right on the property — no permits or street-parking guesswork needed. The driveway is well-lit after dark for safety no matter when you arrive. No EV charger is on-site at this time.
HOUSE RULES
A few simple rules so every guest has a great stay: check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM, with early/late access available for $25/hour when the schedule allows. This is a pet-free, smoke-free home throughout. The loft legally sleeps 2 guests — parties or extra overnight guests beyond the maximum are prohibited and incur a $250 fee. It is a nice walk or a very short drive to all that East Montague has to offer, depending on your preference. Uber and other transportation services are also typically readily available. West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, and Downtown Charleston are all quickly accessible by vehicle. As a general rule, we are not more than 20 minutes to most of Charleston and its surrounding areas.
Please note that this is a pet-free and smoke-free home, and that parties or gatherings over and above the stated maximum # of allowed guests, are strictly prohibited. Violations will incur a $250 fee.
Unauthorized early check-ins or late check-outs will incur a fee of $50/hour.
