Rooms were small but updated. Front desk is awkward right in front of a staircase. It was very busy at check-in and confusing how to line up with staircase right in front of desk. We didn’t realize there was direct access to a water park at an adjoining hotel so The Brock was full of families with young children. We were looking for a more adult stay, so likely not the hotel of choice for that. Prime Steak House on the 10th floor saved the visit.

This booking was poorly handled and misleading, and it resulted in additional costs and a ruined stay. I originally booked a Fallsview room with 1 king-size bed at The Brock Niagara Falls Hotel through Expedia. Four days later, I contacted Expedia to request a change to 2 queen-size beds. After extensive back-and-forth communication, Expedia explicitly confirmed via email that the change was approved and finalized at no additional cost. Despite this confirmation, when I arrived at the hotel for check-in, I was told that my reservation was still for 1 king-size bed. Hotel staff informed me that while the change was initially processed, it was later reverted back to the original booking, without my consent and without any notification from Expedia. Because of Expedia’s failure to properly manage and communicate my reservation, I was forced to pay an additional $40 out of pocket just to have a usable sleeping arrangement. This situation should never have happened, especially when Expedia had already confirmed the change. This experience reflects serious mismanagement, lack of accountability, and poor customer service. I relied on Expedia’s confirmation and was penalized for their mistake. I am extremely dissatisfied and would not trust Expedia again without significant improvement in booking accuracy and customer support.

The Brock is definitely not as advertised. I booked the hotel because it was advertised as recently renovated. The first room we were placed in had an awful sewage smell. We were relocated to another room that felt small and poorly maintained. The window did not close properly, the shower had very little pressure, the light bulbs that burnt out were not replaced, the list goes on. What really disappointed me most was the lack of cleanliness. The hotel should be advertised for what it is, this is definitely not a classic and elegant 4 star hotel.

We wanted to switch things up and stay near Casino Niagara instead of our usual Fallsview Casino. The lobby although well decorated and elegant, did not reflect the rooms. The hotel rooms were the smallest I have ever been in…ever. No room for my mom’s wheelchair unless folded up (she does not require a wheelchair accessible room as it’s only for distance). I had to walk sideways just to get into my side of the bed (next to the wall). This of course includes the smallest hotel bathroom that I have ever had with no tub (keep that in mind should you have small children to bathe). But the staff were lovely which was the only saving grace. We will not be back and would rather spend our money where we know we will be a more comfortable.

The lady at the front desk was friendly, the room was clean and the location was perfect. Regardless of the weather being icy, snowy and cold you are able to access everything from inside.
The view from our room was spectacular.

Staff was excellent! They tended to our every need . Brought us some wine glasses and sent maintenance up to reduce the room temperature. Room was clean and modern . Our room was quite small, which was perfect for us, but be aware that some rooms are small.
