When we checked in they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned. Then they gave us a room upstairs, and they don't have an elevator so my sister and I being senior had to carry our bags upstairs. The stairs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months it was awful. And the room we did end up had trash on the floor like they hadn't cleaned it either. I don't recommend this hotel at all!

We apologize for your issue. In regards to vacuuming the stairs are vacuumed at least 2 times a day if not 3. All the rooms are professional cleaned and inspected. We will share your comments with the proper departments, Once again our apologies

The hotel was clean, but they seemed understaffed. One of our rooms was not ready in time. They also seemed to be cutting corners. For example, there were not extra blankets in the room and the comforter was very thin. My bed was also missing a top sheet. The staff was not welcoming or friendly for the most part—most of them did not say hello or make any eye contact. When my key stopped working before I checked out, one person did not make eye contact or apologize, they simply said “do u have any I.d.” presumably to n m s as he sure I was the person actually assigned to the room.

The location was great. The floors were wonderful No screens in the windows, they don't clean rooms daily,no comforters on the beds. No bottom fitting bed sheet. Restaurant was closed in hotel. There was a resort fee, which is comical because I wouldn't refer to the hotel as a resort.

This hotel was completely disgusting. There was a horrible odor as soon as we walked in. The staff was not very friendly. This hotel was advised as 1.5 miles from Newport but it took us 15 minutes to get there. I would never suggest anyone i know to stay there.

It was clean. Bathtub drain didn’t work well so shower quickly turned into a bath. Bed was very uncomfortable and uneven- some parts were very soft and others more firm. Continental breakfast was abysmal. Toaster was broken and fake eggs were disgusting. They ran out of multiple things midway through.

I was shocked that I was charged that much for such a lousy room. There were water stains on the ceiling, the toilet seat was broken, the tub was chipped along edges & it was dirty! They need to use a magic eraser to scrub the soap scum off the tub. No hot water to have tea. I will never stay here again.

Clearly, this property has changed hands and is being renovated. It's a huge facility, and only looks like they are utilizing about 1/2 capacity at this time. My room was nice, large and spacious, and mostly clean. BUT - no housekeeping, and the towel situation is really strange. In order to get extra/replacement towels or washcloths, I had to give them the dirty ones. The explanation is that there were so many thefts that this is the new policy. Like, what?? If the cost of purchasing a few extra towels here and there is what is going to put you out of business, then you might want to choose a new business to participate in. The staff were all fine. Not overly friendly or helpful, but also not rude. I asked for some napkins and paper plates one night after ordering take-out, and was provided paper plates, but they do not supply napkins. I was told to use towels. The ever precious towels. The location is good, convenient to many shops and stores and the general downtown area. No elevators. The stairs and the landing to the second floor are disgustingly dirty.
