Nice, off season stay to visit family in Newport. A very reasonable price for an immaculate, comfortable room. It was very convenient to have the restaurant to have breakfast at. All staff members were very pleasant and helpful.

Classic, Eloquent, Friendly- for great price

Loved the super soft mattress, the front desk person was so kind and went out of his way to bring our bags up to the room- I didn’t even ask, he just noticed me and quickly jumped in to insist on helping! The room was very clean, loved the toiletries, the bathroom fixtures, just loved EVERYTHING!

This place was a great, accidental find for us. It's recently renovated, clean, beautifully deocrated and well appointed for a small, inexpensive hotel. Its modern coastal decor is really inviting and the Helmsway Bar being right in the lobby is great. The front desk staff was very welcoming too. Theres a small gym, all kinds of amenities and lots of little nooks to sit in and read or just relax. Highly recommend this place! And...those that have mentioned the noise or thin walls - it has the same level of noise of many other places we've stayed. Occasionally you hear someone else's door close or someone walking above you. In our experience - nothing we couldn't live with.
