You get what you pay for. We came in for college game day and we needed to be near our friends but their hotel was sold out. Red Roof was the closest and based on the room pictures looked okay. The pictures are deceiving! This location is run down and there is a dilapidated building that looks to have been a restaurant at one time adjacent to it. The carpet in the room was nasty to walk on. Several stains in the ceiling in the bathroom. The towels were like bar towels and very rough on your skin. The pillows were lumpy as if they had been thrown in the washing machine and dried. There were also stains on the sheets. The plus side is the air conditioner was cold. Would not recommend staying there to anyone.

Front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful by placing us downstairs due to having our puppy. Room on the otherhand was a bit outdated and had a horrible musty smell, when turning on ac discovered a basketball size mold spot on the carpet. We didn't swim but the pool was open and looked decent. Overall not horrible if you've been traveling for a week and are sick of being dinged for pet deposits.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Good convenient location. Neighborhood was lackluster, but that is hard to control. I would recommend this place to others.

Breakfast buffet was awful, an hour left before its end and hot dishes were empty, pancake machine was dirty and empty as well, no silverware, and the bread cabinet had one single muffin in it, that had mold on half of its side. this was really frustrating because I generally choose better-known brand names like Best Western or Holiday inn Express specifically because they have a reliable breakfast buffet, which I consider in the interest of time when I'm traveling on business. I probably won't stay in another Best Western after this.

Pros: Good for business stay
Cons: Elevator
Location: Easy access to interstate
I request a first floor room due to the hotel not having a elevator I spent the first night on 2nd floor, but after speaking with desk clerk I was moved to second floor as requested on my reservation and face to face with clerk.
