Staying in Chalmette we didn't feel safe for families with kids, the hotel seems in the middle of a high risk neighborhood.

The room was clean. Was not able to close the blinds in a mobility room. Acting manager was so mean and told me that the blinds are not support to work for a handicap person. Had to change hotels because of the hotel not willing to accommodating my needs for which I have already paid for a mobility room. Wires were hanging from the blinds. I was so disappointed the hotel did nothing but put me in a hearing disability room with a unsafe shower chair that didn't fit the bathtub at all. I cried because I was not able to enjoy my stay because the staff not caring or understanding that I had needs that they were not willing to meet and not accommodating me for the bad time I was having.

It was a very modern, clean and spacious room. The only issue I had was the walls and floors do not seem to be insulated well…i could hear people on side of me knocking and the people above me moving furniture around or most likely rolling their suitcases all over.
